Lets North Carolina build a veterans home at Fort Bragg
Gives North Carolina a 20-acre parcel at Fort Bragg at no cost so the state can build a home for veterans who cannot work because of age or illness.
- The Army would transfer a 20-acre parcel in Harnett County known as Parcel 3B
- North Carolina pays all costs of the transfer
- The land must be used for a state veterans home, which can include nursing home care
- The land would go back to the U.S. government if it is not used for that purpose
