Requires yearly work survey covering AI tools
Directs the Bureau of Labor Statistics to run its contingent work survey every year and to ask about artificial intelligence and other technologies used to guide, monitor, or manage work.
- The survey would be published every year, starting with the first one after the bill becomes law
- Questions would cover artificial intelligence and systems that guide, recommend, monitor, or manage work
- If a year is missed, the labor statistics commissioner must tell Congress why and when to expect it
- Results would be posted publicly in formats used for data analysis
