Creates a Department of Education grant program to expand data literacy, data science, and statistics teaching, and requires new reporting on STEM teachers.
- Grants go to school agencies, tribal schools, colleges, or groups of them
- Program must be evaluated within five years of the first grant
- The education statistics center must report STEM teacher counts by state
