Boosts funding to fight health care fraud
Sets yearly funding for government health care fraud investigations through 2029, adds a children's health program to a data-matching effort, and orders a study of how well the program works.
- Health and Human Services and Justice would get $490 million in 2027, rising to $570 million in 2029
- The Health and Human Services inspector general would get $320 million in 2027, rising to $370 million in 2029
- The FBI would get $230 million in 2027, rising to $270 million in 2029
- The Children's Health Insurance Program would join a Medicare-Medicaid data match starting in 2027
