Limits international student athletes on varsity teams
Requires colleges that get federal student aid to keep international student athletes at 20 percent or less of each varsity team, starting in the 2029-2030 school year.
- No more than 20 percent of a varsity team may be international student athletes
- Teams with fewer than 10 athletes may have at most 1 international student athlete
- Colleges must report each team's percentage of international student athletes every year
- The rule starts on July 1, 2029, for the 2029-2030 school year
