Speeds up dredged material agreements in Ohio
Requires the Army Secretary to speed up reviews of local partnership requests to build or run facilities that demonstrate beneficial uses of dredged material from Ohio harbors.
- Covers facilities that design, build, or operate demonstrations of beneficial dredged material uses
- Agreements may repay non-federal partners through later user fees
- May skip waiting for a dredged material management plan when timely completion is not feasible
- Secretary may apply certain federal practices and procedures before entering an agreement
