Gives taxpayers a refundable credit of up to $250 for each child under 17 to cover the cost of school supplies.
- Credit is worth up to $250 for each qualifying child under age 17
- Covers backpacks, notebooks, folders, binders, calculators, lunch boxes, writing tools, and school uniforms
- Applies to supplies for public, private, or home school students in primary or secondary school
- Refundable, so it can be paid out even if no tax is owed
