Updates and expands VA suicide prevention training
Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to update its lethal means safety and suicide prevention course and have more VA workers, outside care providers and family caregivers take it each year.
- VA has 180 days to update the course, then must review it every year
- New hires take it within 90 days, then at least once a year
- It also covers community care providers and family caregivers
- Course and yearly completion reports must be posted online
