Extends Puerto Rico disaster recovery project deadlines
Gives Puerto Rico until December 31, 2035 to finish federally funded disaster recovery projects tied to hurricanes Irma, Maria and Fiona and the 2019-2020 earthquakes.
- Projects from hurricanes Irma, Maria, Fiona and the 2019-2020 earthquakes get until December 31, 2035
- Recipients can ask for more time after that using the existing federal process
- The federal emergency agency must report each year on completed projects and any delays
- Covers work to restore damaged facilities and eligible hazard reduction measures not yet closed out
