Raises grants for people training to teach
Doubles yearly TEACH grants to $8,000 and total limits to $32,000 for students preparing to teach, and lets early childhood teaching count toward the required service.
- Yearly grant would go from $4,000 to $8,000 per student
- Total grant limit would rise from $16,000 to $32,000
- Teaching in a high-need early childhood program would count as service
- No money penalty would be allowed if a student does not complete the teaching service
