Requires federal agencies to buy American-made nitrile gloves

Federal agencies would have to buy nitrile gloves made in the United States by companies owned and controlled by U.S. persons, under supply deals lasting at least two years.

  • Covers Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Defense and other agencies that buy gloves
  • Gloves must be made only by companies majority-owned and controlled by U.S. persons
  • Companies cannot be owned, controlled or heavily influenced by a foreign entity of concern
  • Supply agreements must last at least two years and include minimum purchase commitments
