Bans taking and breeding of some whales for shows
Would change two animal protection laws to stop certain whales, dolphins and porpoises from being captured, imported, exported or bred for public display.
- Bans taking, importing, exporting and breeding certain cetaceans for public display
- Would change the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972
- Would also change the Animal Welfare Act
- Cetaceans are the group that includes whales, dolphins and porpoises
