Updates clean vehicle tax credits and requires reports

Increases and makes permanent several tax credits for electric and alternative fuel vehicles, and requires federal reports on vehicle choices, critical minerals, and fuel use.

• Increases the tax credit for new clean vehicles to $7,500
• Doubles the tax credit for previously owned clean vehicles
• Increases the alternative fuel refueling property tax credit to 50 percent
• Requires several federal reports on vehicle availability and critical minerals
