Directs Commerce to promote blockchain technology
Makes the Department of Commerce responsible for supporting U.S. leadership in blockchain and similar digital ledger technology, advising the President, and reporting yearly.
- Commerce must advise the President on policies for blockchain, tokens and tokenization
- Commerce must set up advisory committees to help develop best practices for using the technology
- Commerce must report every year on its work and suggest any new laws needed
