Creates online portals for communications permits on public lands
Makes the Interior Department and the Forest Service build online portals to accept and process requests to place or change communications equipment on public lands.
- Covers requests for easements, rights of way, leases and licenses for communications facilities
- Applies to public lands and National Forest System land
- Each agency must tell the telecommunications agency within three business days of starting its portal
- That agency must link to the portals from its website
