Sets deadline to approve state wildlife plans
Gives the Interior Department 180 days to approve a state's wildlife conservation plan, and approves it automatically if the deadline is missed.
- Interior must decide on a state wildlife plan within 180 days of submission
- A plan that meets program rules is automatically approved if the deadline passes
- Interior must set aside wildlife conservation money for that state if it misses the deadline
