Speeds up geothermal lease sales on federal land

Requires the Interior Department to hold geothermal lease sales at least once a year in states with pending nominations, and to hold a replacement sale if one is canceled or delayed.

• In states with pending nominations, lease sales would be held yearly instead of every two years
• Each sale must offer all pending nominated parcels eligible under the state's land use plan
• A canceled or delayed sale must be replaced by another sale in the same year
• Sets deadlines for the Interior Department to answer geothermal drilling permit requests
