Creates regional cancer care coordinators at VA
Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to place a breast and gynecologic cancer care coordinator in each of its regional health networks to connect veterans' VA care with outside providers.
- One coordinator hired or named for each regional VA health care area
- Coordinators keep VA doctors and community cancer providers in touch
- Veterans with a breast or gynecologic condition can get this help
- They must also be eligible for care through the Veterans Community Care Program
