Standardizes and publishes federal waterway access data
Directs the Forest Service and Interior Department to standardize, digitize, and publish online data about public access, navigation, and fishing rules on federal waterways.
- Agencies must jointly set standards for map data on waterway access and fishing rules
- Within five years, they must put waterway access, navigation, and restriction data online
- Waterway access and restriction data must be updated at least twice a year; fishing rules in real time
- The public could submit questions or comments about waterway access data
