Prohibits the District of Columbia from adopting policies that limit sharing immigration status information or holding people for federal immigration agents, except for crime victims and witnesses.
- Bars D.C. agencies from blocking citizenship or immigration status information sharing
- Requires D.C. to honor federal requests to hold someone up to 48 hours after release
- Requires D.C. to tell federal officials when a requested person is released
- Exempts crime victims and witnesses from these requirements
