Lets funds omit certain fees from fee totals

Allows registered investment companies to leave out fees they pay indirectly through investments in a business development company when reporting acquired fund fees and expenses.

  • Applies to the acquired fund fees and expenses line on a fund's fee schedule
  • Fees paid indirectly through investing in a business development company could be excluded
  • That line item currently reports the operating expenses of the fund
