Federal law would override state squatter's rights rules for homes owned by servicemembers that a squatter occupies while they are serving in the military.
- Applies to property owned by a member of the uniformed services
- Covers times when the owner is away on military service and a squatter moves in
- State laws granting squatter's rights in those cases would not apply
