Requires dating apps to warn users of banned accounts
Online dating services would have to tell users when they have messaged with an account that has been banned, and give tips on avoiding fraud.
- Notice must name the banned account and the last time messages were exchanged
- Users must be told not to send cash or financial information to other users
- Notice must include fraud-prevention information and customer service contact details
- The Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general can enforce the rules
