Requires online dating services to notify users who received messages from banned users, with warnings not to send cash and enforcement by the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general.
- Covers online dating websites and mobile apps where users create accounts and message each other
- Notice must name the banned user and the last time messages were exchanged
- Notice must say the banned user may have used a false identity or tried to defraud others
- Notice must warn against sending cash or financial information and include fraud tips and customer service contact
