Exempts certain event talks from securities advertising rules
The bill directs the Securities and Exchange Commission to let certain events include company presentations without some advertising and solicitation limits, if set conditions are met.
- Events must have more than one company presenting
- Sponsors cannot give investment advice, negotiate deals, or charge certain fees
- Presentations cannot give offering details beyond type, amount, unsubscribed amount, and use of proceeds
- Virtual events must limit who can join; events generally cannot be held in religious facilities
