Lets closed-end funds invest more in private funds
Closed-end funds would be allowed to put more money into private investment funds, and the Securities and Exchange Commission could not block their shares from being sold or listed.
- Closed-end funds could raise the amount they invest in private investment funds
- The Securities and Exchange Commission could not limit selling or listing these fund shares
- The same rules would apply to closed-end companies treated as business development companies
