Changes rules for a veterans job training program

Veterans with disabilities tied to their military service would have to apply for an initial evaluation and could get employment help for no more than 365 days.

• Veterans must apply to the VA to get an initial evaluation to join the program
• Employment help through the program can last no more than 365 days
• The VA must report to Congress on participants' wages before and after the program
• The VA must seek a contract with an outside vocational rehabilitation expert to review the program
