Lets five Alaska Native villages form corporations and receive land
Allows Alaska Native residents in five Southeast Alaska villages to form urban corporations, receive land, and create settlement trusts for health, education, and culture.
- Alaska Native residents of Haines, Ketchikan, Petersburg, Tenakee, and Wrangell can form urban corporations
- The Interior Department must convey specified land to each new corporation
- Subsurface estate under that land goes to the Southeast Alaska regional corporation
- Each corporation may create a settlement trust for health, education, welfare, and culture
