Raises the size limit so more small banks that are well-capitalized and well-managed can be examined less often by federal regulators.

  • Raises the asset limit for less frequent exams from under $3 billion to under $6 billion
  • Banks must be well-capitalized and well-managed based on their most recent exam
  • Applies to small insured banks supervised by federal banking agencies
