Delays new quality reporting rules for Medicare care groups
Lets Medicare accountable care groups keep using older quality reporting methods through 2029 instead of a new electronic system, and tests other digital methods.
- Groups in the Medicare Shared Savings Program can use older reporting methods through 2029
- A pilot program from 2028 to 2032 will test other digital reporting methods
- Groups taking part in the pilot do not have to use the other reporting methods
- Medicare must publicly post an analysis of the pilot and its recommendations
