Lets the National Park Service approve recovery contracts faster for Grand Canyon areas burned by the Dragon Bravo Fire, without needing a presidential disaster declaration.
- Covers forest restoration, rebuilding structures, and grounds work in burned park areas
- Some contracts for North Rim lodging and utilities could be awarded without competition
- Authority ends 7 years after the bill passes or when recovery work is done, whichever is first
- Could be extended 12 months if a new wildfire in the area sets back recovery
