Increases disability and survivor benefits for veterans
Adds a monthly payment of $833.33 for some disabled veterans, raises survivor payments, and lets more reserve and National Guard members get VA home loans.
- Veterans already getting an aid and attendance allowance would get an extra $833.33 each month
- Survivor payments would rise 1% at the next cost-of-living change and 0.5% at the one after
- Reservists and National Guard members could qualify for VA home loans after 14 days of active duty
- Certain home loan fee rates would stay in place through September 30, 2036
