Requires emergency exit through Blue Ridge Parkway
Directs the Interior Department to grant a right-of-way through the Blue Ridge Parkway for another emergency exit from Wintergreen, Virginia, once studies and reviews are done.
- Interior must grant a right-of-way through Blue Ridge Parkway for an extra Wintergreen emergency exit
- Before granting it, Interior must report on alternatives that do not cross federal land, including trail-to-road changes
- It must also report an analysis of expected fire behavior for the route during a fire emergency
- Required reviews under the National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act must be completed
