Delays business ownership report deadline by one year
Companies created or registered before January 1, 2024 would get one more year, until January 1, 2026, to send their ownership information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
- New deadline would be January 1, 2026, instead of January 1, 2025
- Applies to companies formed or registered before January 1, 2024
- Companies report who owns them to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network
