Funds 9/11 memorial and museum operations
Gives a one-time federal grant to the nonprofit that runs the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York for its operation, security, and upkeep.
- The Department of Homeland Security awards the grant, to be used only for running, securing, and maintaining the site
- Active and retired service members, registered 9/11 first responders, and victims' families get free admission
- The public gets free admission hours at least once a week
- The nonprofit must allow yearly federal audits of its financial statements
