Requires fraud prevention training for federal workers

Creates a required training program on finding fraud and improper payments for federal employees who run programs or grants, and makes it available to state, local and tribal workers.

  • Federal workers in these roles must finish the training every two years
  • The Office of Management and Budget and the Treasury run the program
  • State, local and tribal governments can use it to train their staff
  • Agencies may require the training before giving out a grant
