Extends the deadline from 72 hours to 15 days for notifying health programs about emergency medical care received outside of the system.
- Gives patients and providers at least 15 days to notify programs of emergency care
- Applies to care received from non-tribal medical providers or facilities
- Keeps the 30-day notice rule for elderly or disabled patients
