Excludes veterans disability pay from housing aid income
Would not count veterans' disability benefits as income when deciding if a veteran qualifies for a housing program for people who are homeless and have disabilities.
- Applies to the supported housing program for homeless people with disabilities
- Disability benefits paid by the Department of Veterans Affairs would not count as income
- The benefits would still count when figuring the rent a household pays
- Also covers future housing aid for units built on Department of Veterans Affairs land
