Creates a House panel to study January 6 events

Sets up an eight-member House subcommittee to investigate what happened around January 6, 2021, and report back by the end of 2026.

• The Speaker picks up to eight members; up to three chosen with the minority leader
• The panel can take depositions, issue subpoenas, and ask written questions
• It cannot vote on legislation, only investigate
• Final report due to the Judiciary Committee by December 31, 2026
