Requires a federal committee to name one week each year for science, technology, engineering, and math and encourage schools, families, and industries to take part.
- A federal committee would pick one week each year as National STEM Week
- It would urge elementary, secondary, and college students and families to join activities
- It would urge related industries to offer mentors, site visits, guest talks, funding, and resources
- The committee would report to Congress each year on the week's activities
