Requires Do Not Flush labels on some wipes

Companies that label or package premoistened wipes like baby and cleaning wipes would have to put a clear 'Do Not Flush' label and symbol on them, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission.

• Covers premoistened, nonwoven wipes such as baby wipes, cleaning wipes and personal care wipes
• Labels must clearly and noticeably show the phrase 'Do Not Flush' plus a symbol from industry guidelines
• The Federal Trade Commission enforces the requirement and may write rules to carry it out
