Removes the 2026 filing deadline and expands court access for people seeking to recover art and property lost to Nazi persecution between 1933 and 1945.
- Removes the December 31, 2026 deadline for filing these civil claims
- Claims must still be filed within six years of discovering the property
- Lets courts hear claims against foreign states no matter the alleged victim's nationality
- Blocks defenses based on delays and other reasons not tied to the claim's merits
