Raises veterans disability and survivor payments
Starting December 1, 2025, payments to veterans with service-connected disabilities and to surviving spouses and children go up by the same percentage as Social Security's yearly increase.
- Increase takes effect December 1, 2025
- Rises by the same percentage as Social Security's cost-of-living increase
- Covers disability pay, extra pay for dependents, and a clothing allowance
- Also raises monthly payments to surviving spouses and children
