Extends research programs for ALS therapies through 2031
Renews federal grants and a joint agency partnership that support research on treatments for ALS, also called Lou Gehrig's disease, and other nerve-destroying diseases, through 2031.

- Pays for research on experimental drugs for people who cannot join clinical trials
