Lets Capitol Police board raise retirement age to 62
Allows the Capitol Police Board to let officers stay on the job past the usual retirement age of 57, up to age 62.
- Capitol Police members must currently retire at 57, or at 20 years of service if older than 57
- The board could set a retirement age anywhere from 57 to 62
- Under the earlier rule, waivers let members work only until age 60
