Expands upfront disaster payments for farms and forests
Lets farmers and owners of nonindustrial private forest land get part of their disaster repair payments in advance, and gives them more time to use the money.
- Advance payments can cover 75% of replacing farmland and 50% of repairs
- Owners of nonindustrial private forest land could get advances of up to 75%
- Conservation program recipients get 180 days to use funds, up from 60
- Adds wildfires caused by the federal government and some non-natural wildfires
