Makes the FCC report on phone and 9-1-1 outages after disasters and hold a public hearing, and has the budget office group emergency call takers with protective service jobs.
- If the outage reporting system stays on 7 days or more, the FCC must publish a report and hold a public hearing nearby
- The FCC must also report on 9-1-1 outages that companies are not currently required to report
- The budget office must list emergency call takers as protective service workers within 30 days
- The FCC's inspector general must report on how Kari's Law is being carried out
