Publishes ocean maps of fishing and boating rules
Directs the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to set data standards and put maps on a public website showing where fishing and boating are restricted in federal waters.
- Website must be up within four years of the law passing
- Maps would show fishing limits, rules for certain boat types offshore, and protected areas
- Agency would work with states, tribes, and Native Hawaiian groups on data standards
- Agency may partner with outside groups and link its data with other federal databases
