Requires reports on late and over-budget federal projects
Federal agencies must report projects that are over five years late or at least $1 billion over budget, and the budget office must send a yearly report to Congress and post it online.
- Covers projects more than five years behind schedule
- Also covers projects at least $1 billion over the original cost estimate
- Reports must explain delays, cost increases, and any bonuses paid
- The yearly report goes to Congress and on the budget office website
