Cancels the national emergency on energy that the President declared on January 20, 2025, ending the special powers it gave federal agencies to speed up energy projects.
- Terminates the energy emergency declared in Executive Order 14156 on January 20, 2025
- The order had let agencies approve domestic energy development and speed up energy projects
- It also invoked emergency military construction authority for energy issues at the Defense Department
