Ends unauthorized U.S. fighting in Venezuela

Tells the President to stop using U.S. troops to fight in or against Venezuela unless Congress declares war or approves military force.

• The President must end the use of U.S. armed forces for hostilities in or against Venezuela
• Fighting could continue only if Congress declares war or approves military force for that purpose
• The U.S. could still act to defend itself from an armed attack or an imminent one
